Director of Accounts
Allison Cowdroy looks after the Accounts! She had an extensive career with British Telecom in a variety of sales; customer service and accounting roles over 20 years and has been a real asset to the BMD Global team since inception.
Outside of work she enjoys skiing; walking her dog and running her own Aloe Vera business in her spare time – a role which she finds complements her busy day to day accounting duties.
PA to the Directors
Georgi Gillett has been part of BMD Global since it started in 2004. Her PA skills are legendary and underpinned by her many years in the motorsport industry – both with Team Hartwell’s Peugeot Rally Team and latterly as PA to the UK Chief Designer and General Manager of Penske Racing Cars – compiling highly confidential design and development information.
A highlight of her career was being appointed as the first ever lady Stage Commander of a prestigious National Rally, whilst being a member of The Bournemouth Car Club.
Outside of work and in her spare time, Georgi loves enjoying the seaside; walking in the country and doing regular voluntary work at weekends at Kingston Lacey House near Wimborne in Dorset, where she advises visitors all about this beautiful and historic National Trust property.
Head of Stick Chasing and Security Consultant
Duke the Dobie arrived on the BMD Global scene as a puppy in October 2014 and has quickly become a very efficient member of the team!
Not only is he responsible for keeping the Executive Board in trim, with lots of daily and mandatory 1:1 personal training for the BMD Global Directors. He is also a very effective security consultant and guard. At the same time as being a bit of a ‘Velcro Dog’ (sticks to you like Velcro) for all employees that he loves!
In his spare time, Duke enjoys walking (or sprinting) around his local Golf course at Meyrick Park, where he can be found on most days of the week ‘in training’ with his owners – chasing tennis balls; big sticks; and latterly, unsuspecting squirrels and crows (he has never caught one yet thankfully).
Duke is also rather partial to his new found talent of ‘Random Picnic Raiding.’ Usually he zones in on unsuspecting families who are out enjoying a ‘bit of a spread’ during the Summer months.
This is something that we are trying to train him out of course. But it is, we admit a bit of a continual struggle! The generous offer of (on the face of it) ‘free’ food laid out on the ground for his convenience ‘being just too hard to miss out on’….Duke woofs!… ‘And it certainly beats chewing all those sticks too,’… he barks!
